You may need to write to organisations that you share data with, e.g. suppliers, to remind them about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its obligations. 

Why send a letter?

This is an important exercise to do, because, not least, you’ll need to be satisfied that if you’re going to carry on sharing data with your suppliers, they’re GDPR compliant, otherwise you’re the first one in the firing line.
