No matter what your business is, its likely that knives will be used, whether it’s for catering purposes, opening boxes or even cutting cables. Our new document Use of Safety Knives Policy sets out how to keep your staff free from harm.

This policy focuses on the actions to be taken by those who have responsibility for using knives in the workplace and places an emphasis on supplying the correct type of knife, such as no open blades etc. and training of employees, e.g. correct cutting techniques, so they are aware of the hazards involved thereby reducing the risk of injury.
