Construction phase plan (CDM 2015)

Under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015), a construction phase plan is required for every job.  You can satisfy your legal duties by completing our master document.

Legal requirement

On 6 April 2015 CDM 2015 came into force replacing CDM 2007. The new Regulations have introduced many new rules, including the requirement to complete a Construction Phase Plan (CPP) for every job.

Must it be complex?

The guidance that supports CDM 2015 makes it clear that for simple jobs, e.g. installing a kitchen, the plan should be straightforward. It also states that by completing a form produced by the HSE, will normally be enough to comply with the law. However, the HSE’s document isn’t very user friendly.

We have taken the information from the HSE form and put it into a CPP that’s much easier to fill in.

Note. You need to create a CPP for every job, you can’t complete one that covers everything of a similar nature.
