Construction site - signing in book
If you’re running a construction project, it’s important to know who is on site at any given time. Manage this process with our signing in book.
Control
When contractors arrive on site they will usually want to go straight to where they’re working and get started. However, if they are allowed to do this, it’s almost impossible to monitor who is on site at any time. This creates complications, such as whether everyone has attended a site induction, are aware of the site rules, etc. So to keep control of who is on site at all times, you should demand that everyone signs in and out. You can record this on our new Construction Site - Signing in Book.
Layout
This two-page form provides space for names, details of employer, car registration plates, signatures, etc. on page one, with standard site rules on page two. The site rules should be visible to those signing in the book, they will then be reminded of your rules on a daily basis
Note. Amend them so that they reflect your own site rules. We have included 15 standard ones that are appropriate on most construction sites.
Emergency
Your signing in book should be used to identify whether all persons have safely evacuated the site in the event of an emergency, for example if there’s a fire.
