Welding management checklist

Metal welding introduces many hazards such as heat and fumes. Use our checklist to ensure that you’re managing the risks effectively.

In the firing line

The hazards vary depending on the method of work but generally include heat, pressurised cylinders, ultra-violet light, fumes, flying particles and manual handling. Other hazards which arise in different types of welding include oxygen enrichment, flammable gases, lasers, hand-arm vibration, noise, electricity and moving machinery. In addition, the work location itself may introduce further hazards such as work at height or in confined spaces.

Our Welding Management Checklist enables you to systematically audit your arrangements for controlling the risks and complying with health and safety legislation.
