Attendees must take note of the following key points:
- “To keep its ISO 14001 certification a company must show that all employees understand the environmental management system and that they follow it.
- Make sure you read and understand the environmental policy and your own responsibilities.
- If you cannot follow procedures for any reason or believe that procedures need to be amended, report it promptly to your manager or the company’s compliance manager.
- If you are asked questions by an auditor, answer politely and be ready to give them key points.”
