Fire precautions - assembly points
You need somewhere for your staff and visitors to congregate when they’ve safely evacuated your building. Check that your current arrangements are adequate by using our form.
A suitable location
Your fire risk assessment process should include a review of your fire assembly point/s including whether the current facilities are sufficient, safe to use, and whether staff and other occupants know where the assembly area is located.
Once completed, this document should be added to your fire risk assessment document set. Any actions should be completed on your Fire Management - Corrective Action Report and allocated for implementation.
This form covers the assembly point itself, the route to it, means of communication between multiple assembly points, signage, instruction etc.
