Ventilation and temperature checklist

It’s always been known that fresh air is important for health, but the pandemic has given a new focus on good ventilation in workplaces. Conduct a review of your arrangements with our checklist.

Meeting your obligations

In accordance with the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, employers must ensure that there’s sufficient ventilation in workplaces and there are further legal requirements such as in respect of the extraction of dusts and fumes.

Our Ventilation and Temperature Checklist covers the general principles of good ventilation as well as the latest expectations for managing and monitoring fresh air so as to reduce viral transmission.

You can use it to evaluate whether your building has sufficient fresh air, whether there are hot and cold spots, your maintenance plans and more.
