This part of our Register of Environmental Legislation covers the energy legislation most likely to affect you if you’re based in England.

When and how to use the document

Each register includes four columns: the legislation title; a summary of the law; the regulator’s name and details of how you’re affected. The first three columns are pre-filled with relevant information. All you need to do is fill in the last one with an explanation of how the legislation impacts your business. We’ve even provided some examples to get you started. Completing the register will provide a way to self-check compliance, and it’s also a document which you can show to inspectors, auditors and clients to demonstrate that you’re following good practice.
